U.S. Treasury Releases New BillAfter long anticipation the United States Treasury Department has started production on the new one hundred dollar bill. It is the first ever note the Treasury has printed with a dog. Street value of the bills go for $110 as of the date of this publication. As production continues and the market absorbs the inventory of bills the value is expected to go down to $100.00. These bills are expected to stay at or above $100.00. This is characteristic unlike the $2.00 bill where street value is estimated to be at $1.85. Thomas Jefferson would roll over in his grave if he were alive to see that. As a move of charity, Tripod offered to let Thomas Jefferson be in the background of the new $100 bill but the mints were already preparing to print the bills as they are now. Tripod's popularity soared in the polls to levels not seen since Tripod acted as aid to President Ronald Reagan while demanding to Gorbachev that Communist Russia bring down the Iron Curtain. |
